Biography:
Introduction: I did my undergrad at Ferris State and went through the Professional Golf Management Program. I spent 15 years in the golf industry as both an Assistant and Head Golf Professional. 13 of those years I was a member of the Professional Golfers Association.
I than choose to go back to school to earn a degree in Elementary Ed (M.S.U.). Spent 10 years teaching 4th and 5th grades. During that time I earned my Master's Degree in K-12 Counseling (C.M.U.). Curently, I am in my 15th year as a School Counselor here at DHS.
I am in my 26th season coach golf. I coached girls golf for 13 seasons (2000-2013) and was fortunate to have to two state titles (2005 and 2007). I have worked with the boys golf program as an Assistant Coach on and off for 26 seasons. The boys program has been blessed with three state titles. I feel DeWitt has a great golf program which instills hard work, dedication, integrity, team work.
